02 / How we work

A short, predictable path from idea to release.

  1. Define

    We agree the problem, scope, constraints and what “done” means, in writing, before any code is written.

  2. Design

    Interface, data model and architecture are designed together, so the product holds together from screen to database.

  3. Build

    Work ships in short, reviewable increments, with automated tests, code review and continuous integration from the first week.

  4. Release and maintain

    We handle store submission, deployment and monitoring, then keep the software current with new OS versions and dependencies.

03 / Principles

What we hold ourselves to.

Written scope
Requirements, decisions and changes are recorded. Nobody has to remember what was agreed.
Maintainable by design
Conventional tools, readable code, tests and documentation. Software should be easy to change and easy to hand over.
Privacy by default
We collect only the data a feature needs. This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Performance and accessibility
Fast load times, low battery and data use, and interfaces that work with assistive technology. These are requirements, not extras.
Plain communication
Progress, risks and trade-offs are reported clearly and early, by the people doing the work.
